Last week we gathered to chat through the epilogue, and the resounding consensus is — we don’t want to stop meeting! I have been immensely inspired by each of you and am so grateful for your creativity, bravery, and willingness to share. Out of your participation and spirit, something really special has been born here.
Let’s keep the magic going!? Because it’s really hard to create alone.
There are two things that have helped me find my voice, feel more confident in my creativity, and turn what I love into a real job — surrounding myself with creative people and getting real-time encouragement and feedback on my work. We can all benefit from a sounding board.
Usually the difference between your work gaining traction or dying mid-draft is someone else simply saying, “post it,” “I understand,” “try this,” “this helped me,” or “keep going.”
I want to keep helping! I want to keep getting your help. I want us to keep helping each other! So … meet Internet Artists — a support group for creative people online.
This is a casual yet effective meeting of kindred spirits who are out in the world making stuff.
If you want to keep growing in creativity, share your work, need accountability, or just want to be around good energy – keep joining us. We will meet monthly on Google Meet and share wins, serendipities, and ask each other for help.
The goal is simple: To not feel alone on the creative journey, to get real answers to questions, and to help each other keep going.
