On this week's bulletin board: love is back, a week in France, great sale finds, color for winter, and the audacity to create

On Wednesdays, I share a list of things I’m seeing, liking, thinking about, etc. This is my weekly bulletin board!

+ Love is up! Marriage is winning. Positive relationships are in! Taylor is engaged. I can’t stop thinking about how she was wearing a Ralph Lauren dress (that we could all buy) and simply posted it on Instagram in the middle of a Tuesday. She might be a billionaire and a record-breaking artist, but she is also just a girl. Yay for love!

+ Wow, Olivia Dean with her new song. Like the rest of the world, I can’t stop listening. Rom-com energy!

+ I am back in the office after spending a week in France. I deleted my email from my phone for the first time in years. If you’re in the early days of building a business, where it feels like you're unable to get away, one day you will have a team, and one day you will be able to. This break also served as a reality check for me — I was reminded that we often choose our own limitations. We love to say, “Oh, I just need to be on email,” or “I just have to keep working!” Do you? Is this where your identity is? We always have the power to make a change. Where there is a will, there is a way.

+ One of my favorite parts of traveling to Europe is getting dressed. I feel like I can express more creativity through clothing abroad. I broke down everything I wore here. Hoping to channel more of this style energy into my stateside life.

+ I have never regretted anything I purchased in Europe. Collecting special things has filled my life and home with so many stories! Everything I brought home here. My favorite treasure is a vintage YSL charm I found in a shop in Nice. Found one on Etsy here. I am not in love with anything but my life, but I am a romantic, so … had to have it.

+ I often repeat to myself, “It’s art, it’s also audacity.” The ones who win are those who muster the courage to try. This morning, I hit 1M views on a reel for the first time in my career. I keep thinking about how what might appear to be an overnight success actually took 10 years of trying. I recently heard the concept of “paying down your creative debt.” Aka, in the beginning, going for quantity of work, because with each effort, you learn more and get closer to closing your creative gap. + I came home to this beautiful coat from Abbey Glass last night. The color! The cut! I love it. I hope to lean into more color this winter. This is the perfect piece.
