THE GOD OF SUDDENLY: For a really long time, you will feel weird. You will feel like you are out on a limb — making swings at something you can only see. And then all of a sudden, you will reach another level of the atmosphere. Your vision will catch up with your reality, and the two lines will meet at a point, and suddenly, you will realize that the cloud cover has cleared and you have ascended to a new place.
This is a message for all of those putting themselves out there — in any endeavor — artistic, personal, health or healing, family life, career — keep making swings. For a really long time, it will seem like nothing is happening. And then suddenly, everything changes, almost without notice. Someone recently mentioned to me that they felt like they were meeting me in my full form (not exactly true, I always have a ways to go), that the things I was once trying for had materialized, and it made me realize that the swings added up. I don’t want anything — just for this life to keep happening. I say this because I was incredibly frustrated that I wasn’t feeling any momentum for about 10 years. But if you keep showing up through the frustration and trust the process, you’ll give The God of Suddenly enough time to move.

New styles have just been added to the Hill House sale! Eyeing this white dress that doubles as a cover-up. Love this style and pattern. Flirty skirt in many colors.
BAG CHARM DIY: Been loving making these lately! Such a fun addition to your everyday bag, and easy to make at home. Use these paracords from Amazon, attach a few chunky letter beads, and add to these looped brass keyrings to attach to a bag.
GENIUS INVENTION: I recently got this personalized Nori iron in the mail, which has been on my wishlist for years! So easy to travel with and way more convenient to use than an iron. Would make a great and useful gift!
THE PURPOSE OF FUN: I had a lot of fun this weekend — a big backyard birthday party (guide to come!!!) that went late into the night, days at the beach, lots of long lunches and meals out on patios. Cake, candy, cocktails. This messed up my sleep score and made me very tired at work on Tuesday. BUT I shared so many laughs, made so many memories, spent time, and had real conversations with others. Sometimes I think we’re optimizing everything, so a weekend like this wouldn’t be suggested. I try to keep myself in balance, but more importantly, live where I am. Easier said than done — but there is a lot of purpose in fun.
WALMART FINDS: Every year, I am impressed with Walmart’s summer collection and price point. I just wore a dress from last year yesterday and was reminded to check their site! This Free Assembly line is where all the good stuff is. These sandals look designer but are under $40 and come in three colors!! Love this cotton maxi dress.
SADIE LOVING COLLECTION: My friend Sadie is launching a new collection with Eddy Collection tomorrow!!! Set your alarms.
SUMMER GLOW: Looking forward to trying this self-tanner. Already loving this shimmer sunscreen!
